Wedding in Dubrovnik

Charm and beauty of Dubrovnik is well known today so no wonder that Dubrovnik is becoming more & more popular among future newlyweds. Una & Alex were no exception.

The day started with preparations at an old and exquisite Villa Sheherezade – a white-stone palace filled with bespoke furniture telling tales of old times. Villa has great scenery overlooking Adriatic so we decided to have a “first look” under one of the Villa’s gazebos. Love doing “first looks” because it is unstaged, raw and emotional. Definitely emotional.

What followed was a ceremony in the garden of Grand Villa Argentina in the presence of their loved ones. What made it even more touching was the fact that Una’s part of the family is Croatian native.

What followed was great introduction to the rest of the evening – speeches. Don’t know why people mostly dislike speeches but I find them either funny or moving. Actually, I even cried during these ones.

All in all, it was a great day filled with laughs, cries and most importantly good emotions. And I was lucky enough to be a part of it.
