Winery wedding in Greece

Marija and Kostas are from Sweden but wanted to have a destination winery wedding in Greece. Kostas is originally from Greece so this decision was no brainer.  They decided on Crete island :)! Since I’ve been to Crete before, I knew what to expect – hot weather, genuinely friendly people and great food!

 The wedding day started with girls getting ready in this gorgeous suite in the cutest boutique hotel Serenissima in the centre of Chania town, followed by the orthodox ceremony in the small abandoned monastery of Panagia at Katomeri. 

Girls from Crete for Love made everything look like from a fairy tale – colourful garlands all around, vintage lace and pastel flowers.

Afterwards, the party continued in  Dourakis Winery – a fabulous location with breathtaking views and great wines (of course).
